Kate and Chelsie's Experience
In May 2012 Kate and I visited Dubai; we agreed that the holiday would not be complete without a visit to Abu Dhabi. When investigating things to do, we soon uncovered the wonderous Emirates Palace and being lovers of fresh Spanish tapas thought The Breeze Bar would be a splendid end to our day.
As we approached the Emirates Palace via our taxi cab, we were greeted by security who enquired about the purpose of our visit before welcoming us inside. As our taxi bought us closer to the hotel's front doors we found ourselves silenced by the hotel's beauty. Undeniably; the Emirates Palace is the definition of perfection; with playful water features, palm trees and an overwhelming feeling of intense luxury.
Kate and I were welcomed into the Emirates Palace by a well dressed doorman; and once again we found ourselves being silenced by our stunning surroundings. The lobby is unlike anything we have seen before; spacious, immaculate, airy and light with gold everywhere. As we headed towards the Breeze Lounge; we were not sure what would entail but we were sure it would be fantastic! Kate and I arrived at the Breeze Lounge around 10pm; which meant we got to see the beautiful swimming pools lit up, and the outside temperature was not as imposing as it can be.
We were shown to our table by our waiter who gave us a menu to glance over; a really nice touch is your provided with a clip on light to aid your reading when the sun goes down. Kate and I indulged in one the Breeze Lounge's freshly made non alcoholic fruit cocktails and a small selection of items within the Spanish tapas menu. The service was incredibly prompt with the quality of food and drink of the very highest standard in respects to both it's taste and appearance. A trip to the Breeze Lounge really was the perfect ending to our day in Abu Dhabi.
